Concrete sealing & re-sealing

Sealing protects concrete from oil, stains, water and UV, and brings back colour. It’s also how you keep a spray-crete or coloured surface looking new for years.

Why it works

What sealing does

Stain resistance

Slows oil, grease and spills from soaking into the concrete.

UV protection

Helps protect coloured concrete from fading and chalking.

Colour refresh

Deepens and revives tired colour.

Easier cleaning

Dirt and moss wash off a sealed surface more easily.

Re-sealing

Re-sealing spray-crete and stencilled concrete

Every sealed surface wears over time. A re-seal (clean, prep and fresh coats of sealer) is the simplest way to keep spray-crete and coloured concrete looking new, and far cheaper than resurfacing again. We re-seal surfaces we laid and ones laid by others.

FAQs

Concrete sealing: your questions answered

Can’t see your question? Ask us directly, we’re happy to help.

How often should concrete be re-sealed?

It depends on traffic, sun and the sealer used, typically every few years. If water stops beading on the surface or colour looks dull, it’s probably time.

Will sealing make my driveway slippery?

Sealers can be slippery when wet, so we add a non-slip additive on slopes, paths and steps.
