Flake epoxy: the hard-working, good-looking floor

Decorative vinyl flakes broadcast into an epoxy base, then locked under clear topcoats. Flake floors hide dust and marks, add grip, and come in blends to suit any space.

Why it works

Why flake is our most popular finish

Hides dust & marks

The speckled pattern disguises everyday dirt between cleans.

Added grip

Flake adds a subtle texture under the topcoat.

Depth & durability

Clear topcoats over the flake add gloss and protection.

Easy to match

Greys, neutrals and blues to suit cabinetry and walls.

Ultra vs Hyper

Ultra Flake vs Hyper Flake

Ultra Flake uses larger chips for a bold, classic garage look. Ash, Biscuit Merino and Bluestorm blends are favourites. Hyper Flake uses a finer, denser blend that reads more like natural stone, such as the Basalt, River Stone and Sandstone blends. Both are fully broadcast, so the base colour mostly disappears under the flake.

FAQs

Flake epoxy: your questions answered

Can’t see your question? Ask us directly, we’re happy to help.

Is flake epoxy rough to walk on?

No. The clear topcoats encapsulate the flake, leaving a smooth-to-lightly-textured surface that is comfortable underfoot.

Which flake blend hides dirt best?

Mid-grey blends with black and white chips hide the most. Very light or very dark blends show more dust.
